An former Twitter executive said that she was taking leave a few weeks after the closure. Esther Crawford was one of the top lieutenants of Elon Musk and went viral to sleep in the office.

Esther Crawford, a former Twitter top executive, said she was going on a single holiday only a few weeks after being closed from the social media company.

“This is without a job since grade school, so I am going on some single trip – the first stop in Hong Kong is a few days!” Crawford tweeted on Sunday night.

After a picture of a gold at the headquarters of Twitter, Crawford made headlines last year, as Elon Musk postponed her “hardcore” work culture.

According to his LinkedIn page, Twitter executive worked in the company for two years after acquiring his startup, squad in 2020. “To get a wonderful view of Hong Kong, took the tram to the top,” he wrote. “What a beautiful place.”

Crowford is not the only former Twitter executive to go on holiday after widespread sorting. In February, Robin Wheeler, former head of Twitter advertising sales, was closed after going on some trips.

“Status: Jackson Hole. Currently ordering the dark knee in powder and anything that starts with Alk/Bison/Buffalo,” the wheeler tweeted on 21 February.

At the beginning of that month, she said that she returned from “a space for a rest in Mexico”.

The wheeler told Insider that this was the first time he took a break between jobs in his 20 -year career.

“Given the situation of the situation, I wanted to take advantage of it and spend some time to relax and enjoy time!” He said.

Crawford did not respond to the recommendation requests from Insider before publication.

It is not uncommon for the workers of Silicon Valley to leave after closing. Technical workers are among the most paid employees in the US, and they are likely to receive generous dissection salary. In addition, they can cache the stock awards on their way out of the door.

People like Cropod, whose companies were acquired, was often promised to pay large breakdowns as part of the acquisition, The New York Times reported last month.

A pre-Twitter worker said that fellow colleagues organized “all kinds of trips”-after leaving the world from trip to the world tour.

Nevertheless, it is not clear that Twitter’s dissection salary is as cushion for all of them for other technical companies.

CNN reported that some Twitter workers who were abolished in November said that they would start receiving a breakfast proposal only in January and they were much less than expected.

In January, the US District Judge told five laid workers that they would have to prosecute a class action against Twitter on the departed packages of the company and instead file claims of personal arbitration.

Employees alleged that their dissected packages included two months’ salary before taking over as Musk.

”For Silicon Valley tech workers, cushy severance packages sometimes pose an opportunity for elaborate vacations.”
