President Donald Trump has endorsed Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s explosive accusations against former President Barack Obama and his administration, alleging a “treasonous conspiracy” to undermine Trump’s 2016 election victory.
Trump praised First Deputy White House Press Secretary Harrison Fields for his “fantastic” appearance on Fox News, where Fields discussed prosecuting Obama and what Trump called “thugs” involved in “unequivocally exposed” election fraud at the highest level.
Gabbard, who recently declassified 114 pages of documents, claims they provide “overwhelming evidence” that Obama’s national security team, including former DNI James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, and others, fabricated intelligence to falsely link Trump’s campaign to Russian interference in 2016.
She alleges this was part of a “years-long coup” to subvert the will of the American people. Gabbard has turned over the documents to the Justice Department, calling for criminal investigations into the named officials.
The allegations have sparked fierce debate. Democrats, including Rep. Jim Himes, have dismissed Gabbard’s claims as “baseless” and politically motivated, pointing to a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report that confirmed Russia’s aggressive interference in the 2016 election.
Critics argue Gabbard’s report misrepresents the intelligence community’s findings, which found no evidence of vote tampering but confirmed Russian efforts to boost Trump’s campaign.
Trump’s endorsement comes amid ongoing scrutiny of his administration, including questions about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Supporters, however, see Gabbard’s actions as a bold step toward transparency. “Congratulations to Tulsi Gabbard. Keep it coming!!!” Trump wrote, signaling more revelations may follow.
