On July 8, 2025, SpaceX successfully launched 28 Starlink V2 Mini satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s SLC-40 at 4:21 a.m. EDT (0821 UTC) using a Falcon 9 rocket, marking its 59th orbital launch from the Space Coast that year and the 36th Starlink mission.
The first-stage booster, B1077, completed its 22nd flight and landed on the droneship “A Shortfall of Gravitas,” achieving SpaceX’s 473rd booster landing.
The satellites, part of SpaceX’s constellation providing global broadband to over 5 million subscribers, were deployed into low Earth orbit about 50 minutes after liftoff, enhancing the network’s capacity and coverage.
