SpaceX has stated that the Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft have been prepared at Launch Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Today, March 29, 2025, teams rolled both vehicles out to the pad to position them vertically.
This preparation is for an upcoming mission, likely scheduled to launch on March 31, 2025. This mission, known as “Fram2,” will utilize the Dragon spacecraft and Falcon 9 rocket. During this mission, astronauts will be taken into orbit.
The Falcon 9 is a reusable rocket, and the Dragon is a spacecraft capable of carrying crew and cargo to the International Space Station (ISS) or other orbits. Pad 39A was previously used for Apollo missions and Space Shuttle launches, and now SpaceX uses it for its missions.
